So, I guess what I'm saying (and I guess I'm mostly talking about W.H. since Angel's love for Tess wasn't always "unwavering"), I like is their unwavering love for eachother. Their zeal for eachother. Their fire. Their loyalty. So, can I please find a little violent passion, minus the crazy obssessivness and actual physical violence??

Yikers, that IS a lot to contemplate. Loved "Tess," - now I'll have to watch "Wuthering Heights." Which version did you like best?
Well, I think I saw an older version when I was younger and HATED it-only because I was so freaked out by the story. But, this time I watched the Juliette Binoche version b/c I love her.
Missy- ashamedly I will admit I love both those movies in all their wicked insanity. The best Wuthering Heights version is one that I saw on A&E last year. It had modern music in the background and the most wild and unruly Heathcliff you have ever seen. I would say that one was the best version, I have seen them all. Also, there is another Tess version I want you to see. I will email you the link.

So Laura, what was the A&E version you liked? How come I havent seen it. I liked the old Laurence Olivier one from the 40's. I can't imagine Ralph Fiennes as Heathcliff.
Yes, Mom I love the one with Laurence Olivier too. I stayed up late the other night watching it on TV. He makes such an incredible, believably Heathcliff.
