Well, here it goes...

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm finally joining my family in the world of blogging. And actually, in contradiction with Laura, I'm doing this in the hopes that you will think our lives are very glamorous and dramatic-j/k I've gotten so much pleasure out of reading all of your blogs and have felt like I have gotten to know you all a little more intimately even though we are far away, I thought I'd give it a try.

Although spring is in the air here in Vegas, I have not been enjoying the sunny skies, warm breezes or longer days--I have been so sick! I know what you are all thinking--No! Missy, it can't be! You NEVER get sick! How did this happen? I have just come to the conclusion that, and this is a big admission from me...I AM SICK MORE OFTEN THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON. IF ANYONE SO MUCH AS MENTIONS BEING SICK OR SNEEZES AROUND ME, I WILL GET SICK. Jon read this and said that despite my best efforts to sound sarcastic, I sound like I am complaining. Be not confused, I am not complaining. I know I get sick a lot and everyone around me is very good to accommodate my frequent ailments.
I want to thank my dear husband for indulging me and taking very good care of me while I've been out of commission. He has pretty much seen me at my worst (not the first time) pink bathrobe, bed head, no make up (better yet, yesterday's makeup smeared all over my face) red, runny nose and smoker's voice. I'm a vision. Anyway, enough about my ails; I'm looking forward to blogging all my glorious day-to-day happenings for you all to read about. I know you're waiting on baited breath. Thanks for reading.

I LOVE IT. And I feel honored that I am your first reader and commentor. Missy- I can totally see you in your bathrobe, yesterday's makeup and smoker's voice... haha, thank you Jon for taking care of such a dainty flower for us. I will look forward to your entries... and getting to know you better through them. I love you!

Ahh, the exciting days ahead. Normal everyday events are what make life go and we have to laugh at it or we will cry.

Happy Birthday!

Missy you not only get sick alot--you are a hyperchondriac! ;You come by it naturally though, so is your dad. Hence, if someone sneezes you will get sick. So does he. PS how come you're not saying how wonderful it is to live with mom and dad?
